Driving Question: How do religious beliefs shape our understanding of life after death and the concept of destiny?
Realities of Religions is a multidisciplinary project exploring how faith influences human identity, culture, and our understanding of existence. The module integrates religious studies, philosophy, and visual design to help learners examine how diverse belief systems shape the human search for meaning.
Through field studies, interviews, and creative documentation, learners engaged with major world religions, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and others, investigating how different traditions interpret life, death, and destiny. They translated these insights into reflective writing and photography, culminating in a personal photo essay book that captured the rituals, stories, and spiritual expressions of people from various faiths.

The learning journey emphasized research, empathy, and creative storytelling. Learners conducted interviews with practitioners, visited sacred sites, and participated in workshops such as an interviewing session with a former journalist and a photography walk. Additional experiences included visits to the Bangkok Illustration Fair & MOCA, engage in Human Library, and a field trip in Bangkok covering multiple religions.
The project concluded with a public exhibition at Vanich Gallery Café from February 12 - 17, 2025, where students presented their photo essays as a visual and narrative exploration of how belief systems shape both individual identity and collective destiny.
